You Sound Like You're From Laaaandaaann..

How fashion week flies by... In a blink the shows at London were over, so here is a round up of my favourite few...

Bora Aksu

The most interesting textures and techniques I've seen so far, making an ordinary colour palette more than extraordinary. Really feeling the patterned tights and loose fit trousers.

Matthew Williamson

Always beautiful with vibrant colours and exciting animal prints. I'm a big maxi dress lover and his are just perfect with amazing movement.

Sass and Bide

Love the ankle boots they used, and the quirky alternative to a high neck. The jumpsuits definitely made it for me though - the perfect 'made an effort but you'd never know' outfit.

Burberry Prorsum

So good it needed two rows... Reworking the classics in the best way, and I'm a sucker for turquoise detailing. Also, how cool is it that some models went down the runway barefoot? Christopher Bailey is a genius - end of.

Bring on Milan!

Grey Maxi..

As promised... Got this grey maxi from Topshop recently and its amazingly comfortable! Not too easy to see in these pictures but it also has a really cool low scoop back...makes it that little bit more interesting!

White Shirt..

To be honest, taking impromptu pictures in the queue to a club at ridiculous o'clock is never a good idea. However, due to my huge lack of outfit posts recently (which I have no excuse for as there are tons of looks I've been wanting to try out), I decided to post it...

NY Fashion Week Part 2

A few new favourites from the second half of New York fashion week. A very good start to the catwalk season I feel! And judging from what I have seen so far, London is set to impress as well! Sorry for being lax with posting recently, life has suddenly got very busy now I am in the build up to university... 1 week to go!

Anna Sui

I had so much fun looking through the photos from Anna Sui! There is so much going on, but I love all things 70's so really I just think it's awesome. Time to get your inner hippie out...

Vera Wang

Just beautiful eastern influences and great lines. And the grey shorts are to die for!

J Mendel

Definitely my favourite collection from NY. Gorgeous, flirty, and I've always loved a bit of Grecian draping. I also really like their use of texture with the fur and folds in the fabric, and the red shoes liven it all up. Just perfect.

NY Fashion Week S/S 10/11

So its that time of year again, and after doing my bi-annual ritual of trawling through countless catwalk photos, I decided to show you a few of my favourites from the first few days! Although being English, New York fashion week has always been the one to watch for me - it just seems to have that air of effortless cool that can't be rivalled!

BCBG Max Azria

So simple, yet extremely beautiful. Silk really can't be beaten when it comes to a flowing, airy silhouette, and the neutral colour scheme makes it look even more effortless.

Vena Cava

More minimalism at Vena Cava, with a sportier feel. Love the splashes of colour on the otherwise neutral colour scheme. And that navy halter jumpsuit is to die for!

Jason Wu

My favourite so far - just wow. The ruffles, the navy and the sheer fabric all make for some very pretty clothing. And the best thing of all? The turbans!

Parklife

A trip to the park ended in a perfect photo taking opportunity thanks to surprisingly sunny weather and some well placed trees. Got this printed dress from H&M the other day and fell in love with the print and the fact that it had pockets! Really, not enough dresses do these days! Cinched with a belt and some long necklaces and that was another lazy summer look sorted. Heres hoping the weather stays this nice for a few more days...

Zara.com

The Zara website FINALLY launched in the UK today, and words cannot express how excited I was! It definitely lived up my expectations, and now I can buy these beautiful pieces without even leaving my house - magic.
