The weather has been unbelievably hot - the hottest Easter on record - and it would have been wrong to not get outside and make the most of it. These shorts have fast become a wardrobe staple, and as well as being extremely comfortable and easy to wear, they fit in perfectly with the nude coloured aesthetic I've been favouring recently.

Loving the nude tones and half sheer and flirty, half structured, origami-like nature of the dresses that Ricardo Tisci created for Givenchy, and drama as always at Dior - Galliano is a true genius.

I FINALLY found some time to document a couple of new looks (more to follow), unfortunately this did not involve leaving my house in search of a better setting... Starting to become more organised so hopefully will have more time for blogging in the not too distant future.

Anywayy...got this randomly printed silky drapey shift type dress/top from New Look recently, and although its tough to wear (the draping is a bit weird without a belt so you can end up looking like you're wearing a pillow case), it has been a very welcome addition to my wardrobe :) Although not seen here due to a lack in decent looking full length photos, I wore it with opaque tights and wedge shoe-boots.

Bora Aksu

The most interesting textures and techniques I've seen so far, making an ordinary colour palette more than extraordinary. Really feeling the patterned tights and loose fit trousers.

Matthew Williamson

Always beautiful with vibrant colours and exciting animal prints. I'm a big maxi dress lover and his are just perfect with amazing movement.

Sass and Bide

Love the ankle boots they used, and the quirky alternative to a high neck. The jumpsuits definitely made it for me though - the perfect 'made an effort but you'd never know' outfit.

Burberry Prorsum

So good it needed two rows... Reworking the classics in the best way, and I'm a sucker for turquoise detailing. Also, how cool is it that some models went down the runway barefoot? Christopher Bailey is a genius - end of.

So simple, yet extremely beautiful. Silk really can't be beaten when it comes to a flowing, airy silhouette, and the neutral colour scheme makes it look even more effortless.

More minimalism at Vena Cava, with a sportier feel. Love the splashes of colour on the otherwise neutral colour scheme. And that navy halter jumpsuit is to die for!

On another note - others in the UK will know it was A-level results day yesterday! Lots of celebrations to be had last night, and it means that in 5 short weeks I am off to university - eek! Well here is my very own, brand spanking new blog! I've been following other people's for ages and was inspired to start my own.
