Couture Week pt. 2

My favourite show of the week - Elie Saab. Brilliant in so many ways, just unbelievably beautifully crafted, and they all hang so perfectly. Love the colours, particularly the nude, amd the ruffle detailing.

Couture Week pt. 1

Armani Prive, Christian Dior, Givenchy & Valentino

A little late I know, but the death of my laptop charger has stopped me from doing anything, life without the internet is so awkward! A few of my favourites from this year's Couture shows, and the designers definitely didn't disappoint. Loving the nude tones and half sheer and flirty, half structured, origami-like nature of the dresses that Ricardo Tisci created for Givenchy, and drama as always at Dior - Galliano is a true genius.

Random photo of one of my sale purchases - this very cool ear chain that I picked up in Urban Outfitters. Can't see it in the picture but it hooks all the way round the back of the ear and hangs in ways that normal earrings just can't compare to...

Great look worn by the beautiful Nicole Richie, I've always loved those sunglasses. The velvet shorts are incredible!

The beautiful Shu Pei for the new Vera Wang campaign - stunning.

First of the New Year

grey hat with corsage - river island, grey faux fur snood - primark, grey kimono sleeve top - crafted @ republic, assorted rings, black skinny jeans, black peep toe wedges - new look
The sun finally came out for all of a few hours yesterday, and although still freezing it prompted my first outfit post of 2011 - hopefully with many more to come! Absolutely in love with this top, to the point that I've been wearing it almost non stop since I bought it! The kimono sleeves are amazing and I love the button down front too. Pretty much just a really good buy!
